About Jeff

Jeff Wong is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a background in Behavioural Science and Psychology. He has extensive experience supporting both children and adults, including four years of work in behaviour therapy and ABA programs for autistic children and teens.

As a therapist, Jeff is deeply committed to providing care that is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Drawing from his lived experience as part of the BIPOC community, Jeff understands the impact of cultural norms and minority stress on mental health and uses this insight to connect meaningfully with clients who share similar experiences.

Who Jeff Works With

Jeff provides therapy for:

  • Neurodivergent clients (ADHD, ASD, AuDHD, sensory sensitivities)

  • Men’s mental health concerns including stress, identity, and relationships

  • BIPOC clients navigating cultural identity, systemic pressures, or belonging

  • Teens and children adjusting to life changes, school stress, or neurodivergence

  • Couples and families seeking healthier communication and stronger relationships

Jeff’s Approach

Jeff integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities to create a flexible, personalized approach for each client. These include:

  • CBT to challenge unhelpful thought patterns

  • ACT to build acceptance and resilience

  • Narrative Therapy to reframe personal stories and foster empowerment

  • Somatic & Gestalt approaches to integrate mind-body awareness

  • Solution-Focused & Client-Centered therapy to emphasize strengths and collaboration

His approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming, meeting clients where they are, while encouraging growth and new possibilities.

Philosophy & Lived Experience

“As an individual who is part of the BIPOC community, I use my lived experience of being part of a minority and navigating cultural norms to relate to clients with similar experiences. Having worked in the field of behaviour therapy for four years, I have a strong desire and passion to work with neurodivergent individuals. I believe everyone deserves equal opportunities and mental health care tailored to their unique needs.”

A quote that inspires Jeff’s work:

“Healing doesn’t mean the pain never existed; it means the pain no longer controls your life. Hope is the bridge that carries us there.”
