Our DBT Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills Group helps adults (18+) across Ontario build tools to communicate clearly, strengthen relationships, set boundaries, and reduce conflict.
Over 8 weeks, you will learn evidence-based strategies from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to develop confidence in your communication, reduce people-pleasing and resentment, and build
relationships that feel supportive and balanced in a small, therapeutic group environment.
Group Details
Start Date: Thursday, February 5, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (2-hour sessions)
Duration: 8 weeks (weekly sessions)
Format: Virtual group therapy (secure, private platform)
Facilitator: Dawn-Amber Hilton
Dawn is a skilled DBT group facilitator known for creating warm, collaborative, and supportive learning spaces where participants can learn and practice skills with confidence.
Cost and Eligibility
Cost: $80 per session (receipts provided for insurance submission)
Eligibility: Adults (18+) living in Ontario
Payment and Insurance Info
Each session is $80. Participants receive a receipt that can be submitted to their insurance provider. Many insurance plans in Ontario cover psychotherapy provided by Registered Nurses. Please check with your plan to confirm.
Please note: Dawn’s practice is supervised by a registered social worker, which will be indicated on your receipt. We recommend confirming coverage with your insurance provider.

Dawn-Amber Hilton is a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist with a warm, empowering style. With lived experience navigating burnout and high-stress environments, Dawn brings both clinical expertise and compassionate understanding to her work.
She is known for creating safe spaces where participants feel supported, respected, and able to practice DBT skills with confidence.
