Start Date: Thursday, September 25, 2025

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (90-minute sessions)

Duration: 8 weeks (weekly sessions)

Format: Virtual (secure, private platform)

Facilitator: Dawn-Amber Hilton, Registered Nurse providing Psychotherapy

Cost: $60 per session (receipts provided for insurance submission)

Eligibility: Adults (18+) residing in Ontario

What You'll Learn

Over 8 weeks, you’ll explore evidence-based skills from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), specifically designed to help manage distress without making things worse.

You’ll learn how to:

Handle intense emotions in healthy, effective ways Reduce impulsive reactions and urges

Build your tolerance to stress and crisis situations

Learn grounding and self-soothing strategies

Develop personalized coping tools that work for you

Dawn-Amber Hilton is a Registered Nurse with a background in psychotherapy, known for her relaxed, warm, and empowering style.

With lived experience navigating burnout and high-stress environments, Dawn brings both clinical expertise and compassionate understanding to her group work.

Payment & Insurance Info

Payment is due per session at $60. After each session, participants receive a receipt that can be submitted to their insurance provider. Many insurance plans cover psychotherapy services provided by Registered Nurses offering psychotherapy — check with your plan to confirm.
